The Weddington FFA sent nine students to Indianapolis, Indiana to take part in the National FFA Organizations Convention. Over forty thousand FFA members attended each meeting in the Conseco Field House, home of the Pacers. The Weddington students visited with colleges, industry representatives, attended a rodeo, and learned about new crops and animals. Indianapolis shuts down two of their major streets, renames them, creates an "FFA Way" walk, gives use of the Convention center, along with the Colt's and Pacers' stadiums. All students had a wonderful time and are recharged and "amped up" for an even better FFA Chapter here at Weddington.  The students that attended the FFA convention were: Jessica Resor, Savannah Stokes, Kendall Kelly, Tyler Cooper, Beth Lewis, Alex Cohn, Dan Huntley, Luke Grubb, and Lindsey Bowers.
