Weddington High School is pleased to announce Tom Schwartz as the new Athletic Director. For the past eight years, Mr. Schwartz has taught Career and Technical classes at Weddington High School and has been heavily involved in the Booster Club and Athletics for the past ten years. Tom’s five children graduated from Weddington, and his wife, Lynn, has been a volunteer since the school opened. Prior to Weddington High School, Mr. Schwartz worked in corporate finance for 20 years. “Tom brings a wealth of experience and knowledge, and we are fortunate to have someone of his caliber assume this role”, said Jonathan Bowers, principal of Weddington High School. Congratulations to Mr. Schwartz!
